Christiano Ronaldo acknowledging the 2015/2016 European Players Award |
Just days after beating teammate Garet Bale, and Frenchman
Antonio Greesman to win the European Footballer of the year, Christiano
Ronaldo, nicknamed CR-7 has declared his readiness to continue playing at top
level for the next ten years, and as a Real Madrid Player.
Basking in the euphoria of winning Europe most valuable
player award, the 31 year old Real Madrid Striker said, “I’m at the best club
in the world and I want to retire here, at 41,” the three-time Ballon d’Or
winner said.
“I want to keep playing at this level and I’ll work hard to
achieve it, just like I do every year. I hope I can win more titles. I’m proud
of the European Cup and the Euros, I cried both times.
“I always wanted to win something with Portugal and now I’ve
managed it.”
