THE IMAGE THAT CHANGED THE SYRIAN WAR.

Pic of the five year old Omran Daqneesh

On Friday a video of a five year old Omran Daqneesh saved from a fallen building after a bomb blast in the city of Aleppo in Syria went viral, the image of the seemingly dazed boy was enough to draw attention to the sufferings of children in the five year old Syrian war. While Omran was lucky to be saved from the remains of the fallen building, his younger brother wasn’t so lucky as he died on Monday following injuries sustained from the attack.
The image was powerful enough to draw wide condemnations of the war in Syria, while many around the world are now questioning the rational behind the five year old war that has claimed more than fourteen thousand children lives. Some foreign analysts and observers are blaming the media for not doing enough to bring to the fore the real culprits of the war. Whether the media is able to do their job of reporting the truth or not, one thing is certain, and that is the war in Syria will never remain the same again after that sordid image of a helpless five year old boy covered in his own blood been rescued from the rubles of a bomb failed building, with a 48 hours ceasefire already agreed by the warring factions.
So never stop capturing those images you never can tell which will save lives.
